Today I watched the match between India and SriLanka which is a one sided game from the word go. I believe that people who were talking about the responsibility given to Irfan Pathan with the new ball should be as happy as the CocaCola oficials who introduced a new caption of "Sar Uthake Jiyo".
I missed the previous match where Sachin nearly missed the century. All the news papers were buzzing with the activity of the rebirth of the little master. What the hell are these reporters writing new about?. I dont think every cricket fan in India knows who Tendulkar is....
I saw the papers writing about the reincarnation about the old Sachin who is the darling of the masses. Please do not forget that he is a God to all the people where Cricket is not a game its a religion. Why has every body calls him a GOD?
I remember being a boy of 11 years by which every Indian kid learns the cricket rules. I still remember watching Sachin with his young look in between great legends of the indian team and he captured the imagination of entire india with his dare devil strokes which mesmerized the Indian masses. The key is he kept on performing consistently and the expectations grew leaps and bounds.
I still remember the day where I went to write an exam to Chennai and was in motel room where there is no television the match against Australia in Sharjah on his birthday watching in front of a big electronic store. He is adored by masses and classes alike. Being from a very humble backgroud and he knows his basics and responsibilities. So every one looks to him as an inspiration and respect.
He is not only respected by Indians he is respected and adored all over. But why do Indians believe that he is the saviour?
It was a time where all the indian cricketers were aging and no fresh talent was coming into the team. A son has rose to the occassion short and shy fellow with a heavy willow tore the oppositions apart. He was a hero of the children and parents.
Even now when he strikes the ball in the air every Indian jaw drops and heart keeps pounding until the ball kisses the ground safely that is the charisma of Sachin. We all know and believe that the match is not over until the master is in the pavilion right?
There are many comments about his presence in the ads, but who cares?
He is doing wonders and breaking all the records that come on is way.......
